Sterling Liam Media begins preliminary talent discovery in the Netherlands ahead of a planned worldwide search for exceptional young people aged 12–20.
Somewhere in the world, a young footballer is training before sunrise. A pianist is practising the same passage for the hundredth time. A ballet dancer is pushing through another demanding rehearsal, while a young racing driver dreams of reaching the highest level of motorsport.
Behind these ambitions are extraordinary stories of determination, discipline and perseverance. Often, there are parents and families quietly making sacrifices to give a young person the opportunity to pursue something remarkable.
These are the stories we want to tell.
Introducing THE DREAM CATCHERS
Developed by Sterling Liam Media, THE DREAM CATCHERS is an ambitious international documentary television project dedicated to extraordinary young talents aged 12–20 and the people standing behind their dreams.
From sports and motorsport to classical music, ballet, opera, performing arts and chess, the series will explore what it truly takes to pursue excellence.
But this is not another conventional talent competition.
There will be no manufactured eliminations, artificial rivalries or celebrity judges deciding someone’s future.
Instead, each episode is designed to follow a young person and their family, revealing the dedication, setbacks, achievements and everyday realities behind their ambitions.
Because talent can be found anywhere in the world. Opportunity cannot.
Our Journey Begins in the Netherlands
Before beginning the worldwide talent search, Sterling Liam Media is conducting a preliminary local talent search across the Netherlands.
This important first stage will help us develop and prepare the documentary’s production approach while introducing us to exceptional young people and their families.
We are particularly interested in young talents who demonstrate remarkable dedication to their chosen discipline, whether they are pursuing a future in competitive sport, music, performing arts or another field requiring exceptional commitment.
Selected candidates may be invited to an initial interview of approximately 30 minutes, for which they will receive €50 exclusively for that interview.
The €50 payment applies exclusively to selected young talents completing the approximately 30-minute introductory interview. For participants under 18, payment is made to their parent or legal guardian on their behalf.
Some candidates may subsequently be considered for more extensive documentary filming, potentially following their everyday lives, training and family experiences over two to three weeks. Any such participation would require separate arrangements, permissions and agreements, including separately agreed compensation.
The preliminary search is a development activity and does not guarantee selection for the full series.
The People Behind the Talent
What makes THE DREAM CATCHERS different is our belief that an extraordinary dream is rarely pursued alone.
Behind every young talent, there may be a parent who rearranges an entire working week, a coach who stays late after training, or a family learning to balance everyday responsibilities with an exceptional ambition.
We want to understand not only what these young people hope to achieve, but who they are, what drives them and what their journey means to the people who love them.
Financial circumstances do not define whether someone has a story worth telling. Dedication, character and the human experience behind the dream are what matter.
From the Netherlands to the World
Following the preliminary development stage, THE DREAM CATCHERS is preparing for its planned global talent search, scheduled to open on 10 February 2027.
Young people from different countries, cultures and backgrounds will be invited to introduce their abilities, ambitions and personal stories.
Our vision is to discover exceptional talent that might otherwise remain unseen—and give audiences an opportunity to understand the people behind those extraordinary ambitions.
The series remains in development, with production subject to the necessary financing, agreements and approvals.

We believe the most compelling stories do not always begin with trophies, applause or international recognition.
Sometimes they begin with a child who refuses to give up, a family that continues to believe, and an ordinary day filled with extraordinary determination.
We are not simply searching for talent. We are searching for the dedication and sacrifices behind the dream.
